People had to be turned away from the Battle of Britain Air Show at Duxford over the weekend, after the ground reached full capacity.
More than 40,000 people enjoyed the Air Show at the Imperial War Museum, but some had to be turned away after the event drew thousands more visitors than expected.
The unprecedented attendance meant that the car-parks reached capacity halfway through the event, forcing the gates to close to further vehicles and leading to hours of congestion on the surrounding roads.
In the skies, the museum presented a commemoration of the Battle of Britain with Red Arrows and other iconic Second World War aircraft on display.
