ALL creatures great and small gathered at St Peter’s Church in March for its annual pet service.
Dogs, rabbits and birds were the most popular animals to join the congregation at the High Street church on Sunday, September 2 at 6.30pm.
“It was mostly to recognise that animals are an important part of God’s creation and bring a great deal of happiness to people’s lives,” the Reverend Jenny Webb said.
“We also wanted to so thanks for our animals with prayers for those who care for animals.”
Refreshments were available for the humans and a few treats were given to the animals too.
