WHATEVER the astronomical cause, Simon Chaplin from Leverington Road, Wisbech, had only one word to describe the sunset over his home on Saturday – gorgeous.
“Here is a photo taken outside my house looking at a gorgeous sunset over Wisbech at 6pm,” he wrote.
“It was like Fire in the Sky!”
An astronomy website noted that “the crescent moon is above the Teapot. Look for the moon an hour after sunset. Watch for Orionid meteors.”
