A MOTLEY crew of pirates raided St Peter’s Church Wimblington in search of the treasure of life and we hope that they found it.
Our monthly family service ‘’time4tea’’ celebrated its fifth birthday with a pirate themed service, Then after the usual songs and story telling with the puppets, the children searched for the treasure chest, which they found.
At the conclusion of the service a beautiful birthday cake was presented by Louise Cross with children blowing out the candles. After the final song, which parents and children accompanied with musical instruments, everyone enjoyed a bring and share tea followed by birthday cake.
Our next family service is on Sunday September 8 at 5:00pm and everyone is welcome.
