A youth theatre group from March performed their version of J.M. Barrie’s ‘Peter Pan’ at the Skoulding Suite of March Town Hall last month.
The classic story was retold by PlayRight in their “heartfelt, touching and, at times, funny way,” said a spokesman for the group.
“From beginning to end, the audience were captured by the magic of the story, following the boy who never grew up to Never Land, feeling the fear of having pirates nearby and the excitement of the sword fight between Peter and the terrifying Captain Hook.
“All ended well for Peter and the Lost Boys, as it did for the audience, who thoroughly enjoyed the whole performance.
John Shields, group director, said: “I am so proud of the group and what they have achieved.
“They worked so well together as a team, which shows in the brilliant performances they all gave. Well done all of you.”
The group were well supported by the senior group, who’s performance of Caryl Churchill’s ‘Love and Information’ is on April 2 at 7pm.

The company is also organising a summer school, from August 7 to 11, and planning for the juniors’ next scripted show - Fantastic Mr Fox.
