Police appeal after man indecently exposes himself in Doddington

A MAN indecently exposed himself to a passing motorist in Doddington on Friday.

Police are trying to trace the man involved in the incident, which happened in Benwick Road, at about 1pm.

The victim, a woman, was leaving Doddington on Benwick Road, when she noticed the man standing in front of an old, dark grey car along a dirt track near the town boundary.

She was shocked by what happened and continued driving to work where a colleague called police.

The man is described as white, about 45, chubby, with light brown unkempt hair, stubble, and was wearing light tan-coloured trousers with a black belt.

Pc Phil Richardson, who is investigating, said: “This man exposed himself by a road in broad daylight so I believe there may have been other motorists who saw what happened.

“I would appeal to them or anyone else with any information to get in touch.”
