Police are investigating an attack on a man in Wisbech.

The 30-year-old victim was walking along Park Road at just after midnight on Thursday (November 28) when he was approached by two men near the Ketteringham Store.

One of the men punched him which caused him to fall to the floor and the other man kicked him.

The victim was treated for slight injuries.

The first attacker is described as white, 6’2”, in his 20s, muscular build and had fairly long dark hair. He wore a red hooded top with jeans.

The second man is described as white, 5’11”, in his 20s, slim build and had fairly long blond hair. He wore a blue hooded top, jeans and white trainers.

Detective Constable Kerry Ward, who is investigating, said: “This was a nasty attack on the victim, who had been walking home after a night out.

“I’m particularly keen to speak to a man in a car who pulled over to help.

“Anyone who thinks they may have information about who carried out this assault should not hesitate to get in touch.”
