Police are appealing for information after a car was set on fire in Whittlesey last night (August 16).

A crew from Stanground was called to the fire in South Street at around 10.11pm and firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish it.

A spokesman said: “The cause of the fire was deliberate. Anyone with information should contact police on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
