POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was attacked by a dog in Wisbech.
The 64-year-old was walking his dog in Beatrice Road at about 10.15am on Thursday August 8 when another animal attacked them both.
The victim suffered minor injuries to his hand, while his dog needed treatment at a veterinary surgery.
PC Colin Johnson said: “This was a distressing incident for the victim and his dog.
“We believe several people witnessed the attack and would urge them to call police.”
