Police are trying to find five men in the Benwick area after reports of hare coursing.
A spokesman said: “We were called at 10.45am to reports of hare coursing in High Street, Benwick.
“We are currently trying to locate five men in the Benwick area.”
The helicopter was up aiding the search.
