Seven people were arrested for assault across Cambridgeshire on New Year’s Eve, whilst police were called to more than 45 incidents in Fenalnd alone.
Fenland Police tweeted: “Since midnight a huge 250 plus incidents have been reported across the county. Over 45 in #Fenland alone. It was a busy night #Team999
“Not such a happy new year for some waking up in custody, seven arrested for assaults alone. Maybe the #NewYearNewMe resolutions will start.”
