Police were called to two collisions within the space of two hours in Chatteris – in the first a motorist was taken to hospital.
The first was at around 7.20am when police were called to reports of a single vehicle accident involving a Fiat 500
The driver was taken to hospital following the incident on the B1050 at Ferry Hill, London Road, Chatteris.
A police spokesman said it is believed the driver lost control of the vehicle and hit a tree.
Details of injuries are not clear at this stage but the driver was taken to hospital by ambulance.
A second crash at 9am this morning saw West Park Street in Chatteris closed following a two car collision.
Police attended the incident which involved a Vauxhall Corsa and a Renault Laguna.
The Corsa driver sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision.
The road was closed for a time but has since re opened.
“Car had hit a parked vehicle,” said a police spokesman.
