Police foil illegal rave

POLICE foiled an illegal rave planned to take place in the Fens on Saturday night.

Officers stopped a number of vehicles carrying sound equipment on the way to the rave at Block Fen. They seized the equipment.

Five people from Cambridge, one aged 18

POLICE foiled an illegal rave planned to take place in the Fens on Saturday night.

Officers stopped a number of vehicles carrying sound equipment on the way to the rave at Block Fen. They seized the equipment.

Five people from Cambridge, one aged 18, three aged 21 and one aged 26; and a 20-year-old man from London, were all arrested for conspiracy to cause a public nuisance.

They have all been bailed to return to Parkside Police Station, in Cambridge, on October 18.
