Police are hunting for an armed robber who targeted a convenience store last night.
A man, wielding a knife and with his face covered, entered the Co-op store in Southfields Drive, Stanground, Peterborough, at 9.55pm.
He demanded the member of staff hand over cash and made off with scratchcards and a small amount of money.
A police spokesman said: “Officers attended and carried out an area search assisted by the helicopter.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
