POLICE are hunting a man who attempted to rob a March dog-walker by pushing him to the ground and demanding his wallet.

The victim, a 27 year-old man, was walking his dog at Gaul Road Recreation Ground at about 9pm on Monday, October 25, when he was approached by the man.

He was pushed to the ground and asked to hand over his wallet but managed to flee without doing so.

The offender was described as white, 20 to 27, six foot, and medium build. He had a distinctive tattoo of Chinese writing on the left side of his neck.

He was wearing a dark top, black tracksuit bottoms and a grey beanie hat.
