POLICE are hunting two men in connection with an attempted robbery at a garage in Long Sutton.
One of the suspects was carrying a weapon - believed to be a firearm - during the botched raid which happened at about 9.15pm yesterday (Wednesday).
Two men wearing dark clothing and balaclavas entered the BP Garage, in Wisbech Road, and demanded money from the till.
They were disturbed by customers entering the shop and left empty-handed, crossing the road and fleeing into the field opposite.
One of the men was seen carrying a bag.
Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the suspects leaving the area or who may have found discarded items of clothing in the vicinity.
