A man was arrested at Ely railway station for assaulting a police officer and drunk and disorderly behaviour.
The incident happened on Friday evening (January 12) and the man was charged with the offences by Saturday evening.
A British Transport Police Cambridgeshire spokesman said: “The officers who dealt with the male are all okay and a big thank you to @EastCambsCops for their assistance.
“Also thank you to @greateranglia staff at #Ely for their assistance along with an off duty officer from @metpoliceuk”
