Police are appealing for information after firefighters were called to a car fire in Farcet yesterday.
One crew from Stanground was called to the blaze on Kings Delph Drove in Farcet, Huntingdonshire. Firefighters arrived to find a car well alight. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished it using a hose reel and returned to their station by 9pm.
Police deemed the cause of the fire to be deliberate, and anyone with information should contact the police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
Fire crews were also on the scene at another car fire yesterday morning - this time in Whittlesey. One crew arrived to find a car on fire, and wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using a hose reel and returned to their station by 7.45am. The fire was accidental.
