POLICE today re-appealed for the public’s help in tracing witnesses to an assault in March.
Officers want to trace two women who may have witnessed the assault.
Two men were attacked by a group of three men in Robingoodfellows Lane in the early hours of Sunday May 8.
Detectives want to speak to two women who were seen outside the Chilli Hut takeaway with members of March Rugby Club prior to the assault.
Det Con Tade Toseland said: “We are keen to speak to these women as we believe they may have vital information which could assist the investigation.”
A 21-year-old man from March was arrested on suspicion of assault and is currently on police bail.
