"I would like to remind people that we act on information that is passed to us in confidence and, although you may not see anything happen straight away, we will build intelligence until we are able to do something about it." Neighbourhood policing teams distributed postcards to residents asking for help in tackling crime in their area. The postcards feature the police non-emergency number, 0845 456 4564, the website address, www.cambs.police.uk and the Crimestoppers number, 0800 555 111.
