A cheerleading troupe from Wisbech walked away with armfuls of medals after competing in a prestigious competition.
SAS Sharks took part in an eastern regional contest at Peterborough and are celebrating after enjoying a raft of winning successes.
A club spokesman said: “SAS Sharks is the first all star cheer leading team in Wisbech.
“We won so many trophies while representing Wisbech. Incredibly proud!”
The International Cheerleading Collaboration, ICC, was launched in 2008 and hosts competitions nationwide as well as providing camps in the UK and America.
The recent competition where the Sharks saw success was the eastern regional section of the ICC championships, which are also held at Blackpool, Guildford
Nottingham, Newport, Wales, Edinburgh and Scotland.
An ICC spokesman said: “Our mission is to inspire cheerleaders, dancers, and tumblers — one stunt, one cheer, and one community at a time.
“We aim to host a family friendly but competitive events, as well as providing camps in the UK and USA. We pride ourselves on a fun atmosphere at our events and do everything we can to make sure everyone has a safe and enjoyable time with us!”
The contest sees youngsters compete in categories including tiny, mini, youth, solos, duos, group stunt ad hip hop pom.
