CUSTOMERS and staff got together at Poppies Cafe in Chatteris and helped to raise £200.50 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

The event was held to coincide with the first anniversary of the coffee shop under new ownership and a special tea and cake charity morning took place last Thusday.

Tracy Manotvani and Cindy Ball who now run the cafe at DJ’s Garden Centre said they were delighted with the turn out.

“Everyone had a lovely chat about old times and thoroughly enjoyed the morning,” said Tracy.
