A pregnant woman had her face slashed in a random attack in Cambridge yesterday.
She sustained serious facial injuries in the attack, which took place in Hertford Street shortly after 8.30pm.
The offender then ran off towards Chesterton Lane.
The victim is recovering in Addenbrooke’s Hospital.
Detective Inspector Jamie Stenton said: “This was a nasty attack which appears to have been completely random.
“I would urge anyone who has any information or knows who is responsible to call the police as soon as possible.”
