A group of 24 pupils at Coates Primary School have tried to rid the village of rubbish and dog fouling by holding a litter picking session.
Accompanied by members of staff and parents, the activity started from the question ‘what is good and bad in the villages?’
The top of the list was litter and dog fouling, so the school council, along with the head teacher, arranged a litter pick to demonstrate their concern of the local environment and willingness to do their bit to improve things.
