A watchdog body has begun an investigation after a prisoner died in custody at Whitemoor Prison in March.
A Prison Service spokesperson said: “HMP Whitemoor prisoner Steven Jonathan Hamilton, 54, died on Thursday March 13 of suspected natural causes.
“As with all deaths in custody, the Independent Prisons and Probation Ombudsman will conduct an investigation,” the spokesman said.
