CHAIRMAN Ken Rogers welcomed 48 members, one new member and one visitor to the latest meeting.
Social secretary Ron Webber said arrangements had been finalised for the holiday on ice show in February. The catering secretary reported that there were still a few places for the Christmas lunch on December 5. Members were reminded by the chairman that the next meeting would be the annual meeting.
Gerry Woodhouse who was to speak at the meeting was unable to attend so club member Gerard Sauermann took his place, speaking of his life from the war years to the present time. He was thanked by the chairman.
