NEW developments are continuing to help pay for a range of community projects across Fenland.
The district council will hear next Wednesday that section 106 – planning gain - payments have paid for a �40,000 play area at Station Road Recreation Centre, Whittlesey.
It has also found the �30,000 needed for a new play area at Dagless Way, March, and a �37,000 play area in Southwell Close, March.
Willey Terrace, Chatteris, got a �10,000 swing and new goal end whilst a new skate ramp for Parson Drove was partially funded by �17,655 of section 106 money.
Talks are under way to provide over �30,000 worth of improvements to Furrowfields Recreation Ground, Chatteris.
