KIND-HEARTED students at a Fenland school raised almost �1,000 for two schools in Africa.
Year 7 pupils from Cromwell Community College in Chatteris held a fundraising event to support Chisokone and Riverview basic schools. They enjoyed apple bobbing, a guess the baby picture game and challenges, including how many crackers could be eaten in one minute, to raise the funds.
Form captains presented a cheque to English teacher Lester Kent for �973.88 which will help the schools buy books, pens and sports equipment.
