Hearing Dogs for Deaf People volunteer Deborah Maloney – and her group of trainee puppies – are to host a coffee morning at Chatteris library on Saturday November 5 in an attempt to raise funds for the charity.

She said: “We will have lots of lovely cakes to buy, a raffle to take part in, Christmas cards to purchase and some hearing dog trainee puppies to perhaps stroke behind the ears!

“If you ‘paws’ for coffee you will help raise much needed funds for Hearing Dogs. I look forward to meeting everyone.”

The event will begin at 10.15am in the Vermuyden room and finish at midday.
