NINE treams contested a quiz night in the Community Centre on Friday. Question master was Bob Turner and joint winners were Mongrels (Julia Mason, Hilary Parry, Duncan Day, Michael Bedford) and 4 Beauties and 1 Beast (Rosemary Holmes, Maureen Lock, Margaret Burras, Carol and Geoff Scaplehorn). A raffle was organised by Bonnie Drewery and Diane Dodd. During the interval a buffet supper, prepared by church committee members, was served. Proceeds were for the Church restoration fund.
