A COUPLE from March won the prestigious Tour Britannia 2012 in Harrogate.
Melissa (Mel) Raven and her fianc� co-driver Jeremy (Jez) Haylock won the classic car race tour, which took place over three days, consisting of eight separate stages across Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the Midlands.
Melissa was the only female driver in the field, and with help from her husband-to-be, successfully fended off stiff competition from a strong line up of former world champion drivers and navigators.
With the top two teams being separated by just a few seconds, it was the March couple and their Porsche 911 who came out on top, knocking Steve and Tony Graham and their Lancia Fulvia 1300 back into second place.
Neil Oatley, McLaren Director of Design and Development and Fred Gallagher, Wales Rally GB clerk of the course, finished third.
