A reflection service is being held at St Peter’s Church in March on Sunday November 5 in memory of those who have died.
The service, which is called ‘A Time to Remember’, will begin at 4pm. It will contain a combination of music, prayer and reflection, finishing with the lighting of candles and the reading of names of those who have died.
Reverend Andrew Smith said: “This service is a major feature in our church calendar and is loved by those who attend.
“It is right that people who live with bereavement remember their loved ones and have a chance to join with others who have had the same experience and gain some measure of spiritual comfort.”
The service is open to anyone who wants to acknowledge their feelings for lost friends and loved ones, and you do not have to be a member of any church or religion to attend.
