Hundreds lined the streets of the high street to honour the fallen, with children and their parents and grandparents stood together for Armistice Day.

With the parade making its way from Furrowfields car park to St Peter & St Paul Parish Church, the wreathes were then laid at the church’s memorial.

Defying the cold chill, one military veteran even attended the service in a kilt.
