RESIDENTS rejoiced at the weekend as Christchurch unveiled its new village sign.
Villagers cheered as NE Cambs MP Steve Barclay performed the official ceremony on Saturday morning, helped by five-year-old Sophia Dutton.
Following the unveiling of the colourful, hand-carved sign parish councillors took part in their annual village walkabout.
