A RETIRED train driver described as a “generous man who loved the town” has left £50,000 in his will to be shared between March Christmas Lights and March Town United Football Club.
His close friend described the benefactor as someone who “loved to attend the Christmas lights switch on each year and who was an ardent supporter of the football club and followed them for many years. He really loved March.”
