A 100 reward is being offered for the safe return of a much-loved cat that has gone missing in March.
Tabby, a seven-year-old black and white male, has not been seen since Saturday, September 1 after going missing from his home in Smiths Chase.
“He doesn’t usually go far off our driveway but is a tinker for getting in open cars to have a sleep,” his owner Lisa Moore said.
“It was a hot day when he went missing. I’m scared he has done this and woke up scared and disorientated.”
Mrs Moore said Tabby is microchipped and neutered but is worried the microchip may not be working and that he might have even been rehomed as a stray.
“We are distraught at not knowing what has happened to him,” she said. “I cannot stress enough how much we miss and love him. He just never goes far.
“He loves his family. He loves to be picked up and walked around but will straight away get down if you try to sit down with him. He loves to find tight small spaces to curl up and sleep in, even grassboxes!”
“Please can you look out for and pass Tabby’s description and photos on to as many people as possible.”
Anyone with information should contact Mrs Moore on 01354 607570 or her husband Jeff on 07771 644428.
