At the early-season meetings members achieved impressive results.
Scott Campos was second in the big meeting in Collier Street Kent and followed up with third at the Junior Lincolnshire Poacher meeting, run by the Wainfleet club.
Scott has become a member of Boston's speedway team. Youth members did well at the junior Lincolnshire Poacher with Jacob Taylor third in the Cadets, Amy and Joshua Taylor sixth and seventh in the intermediates and Adam Portwood fourth in the Juniors.
The club has found a venue in New Drove, Wisbech, and its first race meeting, The Fenland Trophy Meeting, will be on Saturday, June 10. This will be for both youth riders and adults in sidecar and solo machines. Practice will start at 1.30pm and the first race will be at 3pm.
There should be 35-plus races.
