A man was pushed off his bike then had it stolen in Wisbech on Saturday.

The 34-year-old victim was riding his bike in Norwich Road, Wisbech, near its junction with Park Street, at about 7.30pm when he was pushed to the ground by two robbers.

One of the men rode off on the bike along Norwich Road while the other made off on foot towards the park.

The man suffered a serious but not life threatening injury to his head and was treated at Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

DC Shelly Reeve said: “We know there were people in the area at the time so I would encourage them to come forward, if they haven’t already.

“In particular, we would like to speak to a man who was in Seyon Store at the time who we believe saw the robbery.”

Anyone with information should contact DC Reeve on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
