Robbie Williams raised hundreds of pounds for a Whittlesey charity when he performed in the town.

The Robbie look alike went down a storm and brought in £2,081 for the Defibrillators For All charity.

Tribute act Mike Andrews raised the roof at Childers in Station Road.

Also entertaining were Dale Diamond, Steve Gibbs and pub landlord Phill Quinn.

The charity aims to place enough defibrillators around Whittlesey so that nobody is more than three minutes away from their nearest one.

A spokesman for the charity said: “We want to ensure everyone is given the best chance of survival should they have a Cardiac Arrest.

“We plan to screen our young people on a regular basis so undiagnosed heart conditions are not missed which could result in a sudden cardiac arrest.”

Our desire is to prevent anyone dying due to the lack of a PAD being present.”
