SHELTERED housing residents helped cancer researchers take a big step forward with their sponsored walk.
Around 30 elderly people and four members of staff from Roddons Housing Association homes raised �1,000 at an event for Breast Cancer Research and Macmillan Cancer Support.
The cash will go towards helping to find a cure for the deadly illness.
