A CHATTERIS woman has sent a cheque for £1,452 to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust after completing the New York Marathon in November.
Sixty-six-year-old Lavinia Seward, of High Street, pictured, finished an amazing 15th in her age category after completing the race in four hours 36 minutes.
Her husband Chris said: "She has done the London and Amsterdam Marathons before but it was the first time she's done the New York race.
"She said afterwards she found it much tougher than the others because it is renowned for being a difficult course with a lot of hills, and because it was very warm."
