March Lions have sent a thank you to people for their support fund raising with Santa in the past month at collection points around town.

Santa street collections have raised a whooping £1000 which is going to be split equally between Serv, Milton Children’s Hospice, Young Careers and Young People March.

A Lions spokesman said: “This huge collection total is down to the volunteers of March Lions with help from March Rotary Club and the people of March who peered from windows and stood in the chilling streets but ultimately donated.”

A collection at Tesco March raised £661.25 to go towards helping people in the coming year.
