Santa welcomed more than 100 children to his grotto during the Chatteris Christmas Lights switch-on.
He made himself at home outside The Old Bakery Tea-Room on Market Hill, raising £300 for the Chatteris Christmas Lights.
Reg Tibbitts, of Chatteris Christmas Lights, was presented with a cheque for £300 by Tina and Gloria Prior.
He also received a cheque for £100 from the sale of rapeseed oil and goose fat at The Old Bakery, which was donated by George and Jane Munns of L & AE Munns & Son.
