A HOME owner risks prosecution by Fenland Council for refusing to remove a satellite dish from the outside of his home.

Fenland District Council Planning Committee will hear next Wednesday that the dish is on a house in a conservation area and must come down.

The committee will be told that enforcement action is now the most likely way to get the owners to remove the dish.

Steve Robshaw, enforcement officer, says the house at 23 Huntingdon Road, Chatteris, originally had two satellite dishes on the front of the property but was persuaded to remove one of them.
