Topical and inventive models were on display at the sixth annual scarecrow festival at St Andrew's Church, Whittlesey at the weekend.

Almost 30 models were on show, submitted by local clubs, groups and individuals. They included depictions of the football World Cup, the Queen's 80th birthday and Mary Poppins.

The festival included a quiz night, a Songs of Praise service, plus stalls, tombolas and competitions in the church.

More than £1,000 was raised for church funds on a cold weekend.
