The Beast from the East really hit Fenland overnight, forcing a number of schools to remain closed this morning due to heavy snowfall.
Clarkson Infant and Nursery School in Wisbech, Gorefield Primary and Benwick Primary will remain shut today because of the bad weather.
In East Cambridgeshire, The Harbour School in Wilburton is also closed.
Two schools in Cambridge, Castle Camps and Phoenix, have remained closed too, as well as Sawtry Infant School.

Regarding rail services, Network Rail tweeted: “Today’s snow means trains have to slow down. Our teams have been out clearing track at key junctions and using cold-weather vehicles.
“Please take extra care in and around stations. Check @nationalrailenq for service info.”
Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire Road Policing unit tweeted: “A1 Peterborough to Stamford still suffering snow, due to be open in the near future, please allow extra time for your journey and drive to the conditions.”
Highways England tweeted in the early hours today: “In Cambridgeshire, the A1 is closed in both directions between the A1M J17 (A605) and the A6121 at Tinwell due to severe weather conditions.
“We are working to clear any vehicles that are within the closure points. Snow ploughs are now on scene and we hope to have you moving as soon as possible.
“Instead of using the A1, motorists should consider using the M1 as an alternative route.
“Please allow extra time for your journey should you be travelling in the area, and drive to the conditions. If possible, delay your journey and only travel if absolutely necessary.”
Peterborough City Hospital however remains open, with the hospital tweeting: “Good morning from PCH! Definitely places to park here this morning! Our roads on site are gritted - and there are no clinics cancelled at the moment. Take care today everyone.
