Scooter stolen from Whittlesey home and destroyed by fire

A SCOOTER was stolen from a home in Whittlesey and later found burnt out.

The blue and silver Moto Roma Road Runner 125 was secured in an alleyway beside a home in Coronation Avenue when it was stolen between 7pm on Tuesday (August 3) and 9am yesterday.

It was later found on the field off Feldale Place in the town and destroyed by fire.

A police spokesman said: “Police are appealing for anyone who saw the scooter after Tuesday evening or has information about who stole it to contact us.”
