OVER 50 and want to join a social club? Friday Bridge Senior Citizens are looking for members and will give you a friendly welcome. The group meets every two weeks in the village s Tower Hall and members enjoy games of bowls, darts, curling and dominoes.
OVER 50 and want to join a social club? Friday Bridge Senior Citizens are looking for members and will give you a friendly welcome.
The group meets every two weeks in the village's Tower Hall and members enjoy games of bowls, darts, curling and dominoes. After the games there is a draw, auction and bingo session.
The club was started earlier this year by Barbara Wilshire, who moved into the village and had been a member of the organisation for several years.
She said: "When we moved here I was surprised there wasn't already a Senior Citizens so I thought I would get one started. Everyone is so friendly and we have got lots of things lined up in the coming months."
The club welcomes residents of surrounding villages and anyone interested in joining can contact Mrs Wilshire on 01945 860706.
