A man in his 30’s has sustained serious leg injuries after being involved in a multi-vehicle collision in Chatteris.
Paramedics attended the scene at just after 11pm last night (December 28) when Magpas doctor Sam Todd and paramedic Alex Pearce were called to treat the man suffering leg injuries.
An EEAST Ambulance Service paramedic crew, Cambridgeshire Police and the Fire and Rescue Service were also in attendance.
A Cambridgeshire Fire spokesman said: “At 10.21pm on Thursday December 28 one crew from Manea and one crew from Chatteris were called to a road traffic collision on Horseley Fen Middle Drove in Chatteris.
“Firefighters arrived to find a collision involving two off-road vehicles.
“They released one male casualty and provided first aid and oxygen therapy.
“He was left in the care of ambulance crews and our crews returned to their stations by 12.30am.”
The man is said to have been in a ‘stable condition’ upon arrival at Addenbrooke’s Hospital via land ambulance after receiving advanced pain relief from the Magpas enhanced medical team.
