Villagers turned out in force and raised hundreds of pounds for youngsters in Welney.
The Children of Welney Fayre on Saturday proved so successful that organisers are hoping it will become a regular event.
Youngsters at the William Marshall School and Welney Youth Club will each receive £650 to spend how they wish but organisers hope some of the money will be used for social trips.
One organiser, Michelle Wallington, said: "We had around 500 people there and it was a really good day. Hopefully it will become a regular thing because lots of the people involved in the displays said they would be willing to come back next year.
